A young boy, 4 years old, is disabled. Doctors haven't a clue what's wrong. Symptoms, elongated skull, unable to communicate, subject to limb dislocation, can't walk, therefore wasted muscles in lower limbs, has large flexibilty in joints. I'm no quack. but my initial thoughts were a mixture of Hydrocephalous, Autism and Cerebral Palsy? Any ideas? Sicko's forget it.

Don't miss seeing The Atlantis Hotel on Paradise Island It is spectacular! However- avoid the whole ships excursion thing- way way way overpriced and you have to go with a big group. Instead grab a cab just off the ship and see the whole place on your terms- I think we paid about $7 each way in our taxi. plus you get the one on one action with the cabbie who are always thrilled to answer all questions on their culture. Ours was basically pointed out interesting things along the way- but beware- traffic is a NIGHTMARE!!!!!

Last week we had major snowfall, and so my wife went outside to make snowmen with my daughter. She was wearing cotton gloves which got wet after a while and they made made 3 medium sized snowmen. Though her hands felt cold, she didn't feel any pain. One week has ped and she's been complaining since that day about her finger constantly feeling uncomfortable. The finger looks fine and the color looks normal, but she gets an electric current type of feeling running through it, and it hurts if she waves her hands or puts pressure on it. My red eared slider was in salt water for 30 minutes and now i think its dying help?

i just got a red eared slider and hes a couple inches long about as big as my hand. he came to me with a little fungal infection so i looked it up online to find a good way is a warm salt bath for half an hour so i did that. right away i knew something was wrong she was frantic (probable because of the small tank used to clean her but then i relized i think i used waaaaay to much salt 13cups of water 1/4th cup of salt she was wheezzing then sank to the bottom a wasnt moving after the time was up i put her back in her tank hopping she would swimm and be happy but she sank to the bottom OMG IS SHE Dead!

It depends. They both have both pros and cons. The rescue dog, is already probably trained and it's probably very loyal too since it's a rescue dog. However, since it's an older dog, he might take a longer time to adapt. The puppy, however is cuter, and you'll have an experience training him. He'll probably adapt to you quickly, since puppies usually do, but you'll have to potty train him, he'll probably pee all over the place, and chew anything he can get his mouth on. I would get the rescue dog, but that's just me... :)

okay here's my question...i'm about 3 weeks late from my period...the first day of my last period was feb. 27th so i missed marchs period completely and i've been doing alot of research over the computer. One thing that a lot of people don't realize however is that the war was unofficially over when the nuke was dropped on Japan. All that was left was for the surrendering of significant others, but the USA knew that the surrender was in progress and they dropped the bomb anyway. I believe they did it callously and with forethought because they were so intent on seeing the results of a weapon that they created for just that purpose. It wasn't enough that they relocated generations of an indigenous tribe from a tropical island to test the weapon, exposed countless military personnel to testing sights hence exposure to nuclear fallout and contamination. I remember this dream I had last night.I was going over to my sis' house and there was this really adorable guy waiting there for me and we sat there laughing and flirting and we wanted to kiss, but it felt so pionate just to be around each other.I was also sitting on his lap and he had this accent like a british one ,but he wouldn't tell me his name and I kept getting the name Cannon. TREATS! everytime you go out love on that horse and keep a pocketful of horse treats, carrots or apple slices. as for the bridle, saddle soap, get the leather moisturized with it and it will lossen up. its hard to watch other people be completely stupid about horses, I know it drives me nuts but that horse will be bonding with you more that them anyways. also when horses transition to new homes they get out of sorts. I usually wait a couple of months to start them out on work but you cant do that given the fact they dont sound like horse people.just see if you can contribute the most to her care and maybe your good horsemanship will rub off on them. good luck

How to get the smell out of a piano - a bird decomposed behind it...?

So, I have a piano in my bedroom and it's pretty new - only 4 or 5 years old. My room started to smell really bad and I hunted everywhere but couldn't find anything. Finally, I checked behind my piano and a dead and decomposing bird was down there. My cat must have dropped it down. It must have been there for about a month. It got vacuumed up and wiped away, but still stank. Then I wiped it down with a mix of bleach and water and it still reeks and I can't get rid of it. Horse bolts after fences.?

I have been horseback riding for years and I would consider myself a fairly advanced horseback rider. My position is good over fences and I have light hands. I recently fell in love with a horse, but he bolts after every fence. I'm not a timid rider, and I'm willing to try anything to make this work. He is a paint-so he does have the quarter horse blood in him which would make him more likely to bolt. He is half thoroughbred. His father was a champion jumper (also a paint). From my understanding, he has been over faced by jumping too high when he was younger. He is now 7 years old. I would really like to know if this kind of thing can be fixed. My riding instructor said that it would take too much time and effort and that it wouldn't be worth it. However, I have a stubborn mindset, and I really love this horse. Please help. I realize that if I love the horse a lot then it wouldn't be about jumping-but it's what I do for fun, so I would like to make this possible. Thanks in advance for any help.

How Can I Get Medical Attention?

After returning to Canada from a trip in April, I started having pain in my right ock. I went to my doctor and he said it would take a year to get an MRI, so I went to a private-pay clinic and had one done. The results showed mild lumbar degeneration, but I had one done in the USA 2 yrs ago that showed multi-level bulging of discs. I have had a nerve conduction and vascular test done and they were normal.......but the pain has gotten much worse. I can only stand for a few minutes. My pain level is a 9 (1-10 scale) at night. I have been in extreme pain for months. I have paid thousands of dollars on physio-therapy/acupuncture/mage therapy/chiropractic because my doctor referred me to these alternative specialists. I live in a small Ontario town and I am unable to make my doctor understand the severity of my pain. My Dr gave me a referral to a neurologist, but the appt was a yr away (it will be in June). I am 59 yrs old and have lost my life. I have stenosis in my cervical spine and I think I may have lumbar stenosis, but my doctor is doing nothing. He did give me two cortisone injections this month, but that was after 9 months of onset. I am taking Lyrica/Arthrotec and 30mg Oxycontin per day. I do not want to live if I have to exist like this. How can I get help? Our small hospital is not well-equipped and the emregency room is not an option.If enyone has any information on how to get medical help, please let me know.

this happened to my brothers jeep. if the truck has the function where it automatically locks in the 4 wheel drive when a tire slips then check your tires all around if one of the tires is larger or smaller (especially on the front end) this will cause a slipe in one of the tires then the truck will try to lock in the 4 wheel drive causing it to shake violently........ this will be easy to check and will be a cheep place to start.........

From my experience, there is a stigma in urban centers to not smile. In big cities, people tend to look miserable, even if they aren't. I think it's unfortunate, because I too think somebody is whacked if they are always smiling. I wouldn't think so highly of yourself that he is trying to come on to you. I am worried that I may have had a missed miscarriage. I have been spotting brown and light pink for about 3 weeks and I called the doc and she just said not to worry and she will take me at my 8 week appt. (I am 7w3d) My appt is Friday. Springfield Gi 1911 vs. Ruger GP-100 Revolver?

This is what they said to do (or not do) Do not give out your personal information or banking information because they will steal you blind. AND if they get you to take a check from them and try to deposit into your bank, the bank will get it bounced and then they turn around and charge it against your account to cover it. You shouldn't have to pay to get monies that are said to be awards, lotteries, or pay to get the money either. If they were legit they would send your payment without having to get money to send it out. And another thing, they wouldn't be sending it to: unknown recipient because they would know who you were if you had won it!

I just purchased a guitar that has no name on it and I can't seem to find any info on it. The guitar looks very much like a teisco. The guitar shape is a tulip and has a sunburst finish (dark brown, orange, and red). It has two white single coil pickups which might be replacements. The top pickup is slanted a bit to one side. I have an e36 316i 1.8, I have the option of putting a T3/T4 hybrid turbo on it. I don't want to open up the engine just yet. Is it possible to run the engine at low boost with this turbo with the standard internals? I've heard these engines are quite bulletproof. I found out about this 2 months after my husband and I were married (in Feb. of this year). The risk will always be there with Randy Moss. He is, for lack of a better word, an on the field. The evidence is all over the place over the years. But, there are many factors that people seem to miss, and one being that, if the Patriots were so concerned about his work ethic/attitude--ESPECIALLY with Goodell's new crusade over sportsmanship--wouldn't they have just said no? I have faith the Patriots made a good decision in picking up Moss. The Patriots as of late have been known for having receiving corps that can allow players to either stand out or blend well with one another. If we were in the big bang then how come it has taken 13.6 billion years to reach us?

I understand the principle of how light takes time to get to your eye and all of that, but there is a more fundamental question that comes out of this. Consider this.We are able to see over 8 billion years into the past. The conundrum occurs when you consider the nature of the Big Bang. It is stated that we came out of the Big Bang. In fact, it's agreed upon by most intelligent scientists. The problem arises when you consider what this means for us. It means we too came out of the explosion. We are not distant observers of the Big Bang but inversely products of it. If we look back in time through out telescopes, we are seeing ourselves.Now hopefully several of you see the paradox in this. How can we look back to the beginning and see ourselves? How can we look back to the beginning and NOT see ourselves?Also, if we are products of the Big Bang, the rest of the light that came from the creation of galaxies and star nurseries would have flowed WITH us in our progression towards new edges of space. In order for us to see back 8 billion years, it would erroneously require that light produced by matter from that time would have taken 8 billion years to catch us. How were we ever 8 billion years ahead if we came from the same point? We naturally couldn't have outran the light as going faster than light is impossible. We can't even be going near the speed of light as time would slow in accordance and Earth would increase in m.Also, time is not a movie that keeps playing one scene over and over, If we look back in time and see a galaxy being created, we can never go back to that point in our telescopes again. YET, we are able to see further back into time? How can we not see the same occurrence over and over again yet still see a constant flow of the beginning?Rationally, yet against the Big Bang theory, the only way any of this makes sense is if we were created at the same time yet a different point in the universe and the light is just now getting to us. This would mean, however, that we did not come from the areas we ume was our beginning. This way of thinking destroys the Big Bang theory. We cannot come from it, yet see it's creation. Yet, rationally, we HAD to come from the big Bang in order to astrophysics as we understand it to make sense. I left the sunroof in my car open 3 days ago and we got a little rain. The inside of my car got wet and I cleaned it as much as I could. In the morning after my car has been off all night the windows are fogged up and moist inside. I figured that would go away in time. Well yesterday I tried to start my car, which aside from needing new plugs and wires has run fine until now, but it wouldn't start and the battery light was on. After jumping it it seemed to run normally again for about an hour. Then I noticed that the airbag light had come on and there was a loud constant beeping, almost like an alarm, going off on the inside of my car. I've driven it a few times with the beeping noise and aside from that its not running any differently. I'm wondering if the water could have done something, or maybe it's a coincidence and something else happened around the same time. If anyone has any idea what this could be, or what I could do to correct the problem I would greatly appreciate it!

Question about using bronzer?

Did this make me a wimp?

I had to get blood drawn today and when the nurse stuck the needle in my vein, no blood came out...so she kept moving the needle around...and adjusting it. She had to pull the needle out and go to another vein. I watched the whole thing happen and almost fainted. (I have fainted numerous times...so I know I was almost gone) She called 2 other nurses over to give me juice. put a cold pack on my neck, and fan me. It took me about 5 good minutes to recover. Am I a wimp because of this? I feel so wimpy.

How do i get my hamster used to me?

I've had my hamster for almost a year now ( hes a dwarf ) anyways, hes soo cute and i love him to death ( btw hes my 3rd hamster ) and hes not like my others.. All of the hamsters i have had would like to be held and they would just sit in my hand and let me play with them. Also, when i would open their cage door they would come running to it and crawl out of it onto my hand. My current hamster doesnt do that :( at night sometimes i open the cage and put one of his favorite treats on my hand and he will crawl out and eat it but he never likes to stay in my hand long. seriously maybe a minute if that. He'll get all riled up and it's almost like he gets nervous and then he starts to leave little poo drops. I got him when he was just a baby so I dont know. Also when i go to get him and try to put my hand in the cage he just runs away up into his wheel where i cant get him :(. ive never been mean with him or anything ive always been very gentile. is there anything i can do to get him more used to me and being out of his cage for a little bit? Macbook keeps turing on from sleep?

Ok this problem is VERY annoying. I usually like to put my macbook to sleep when I go to sleep. So when I wake up I can just flip the screen up and the system turns on. However recently my macbook will just wake up from sleep. I can tell because I can hear the disk drive clicking and checking itself. It will then go back sleep and will do it again. It will do this ever 15-20 sec. If I leave closed enough and open my macbook back up the keyboard will not work, I think this is cause by an overheating. This makes me really mad and its annoying so if you know how to fix this problem that would be appreciated! Thanks

Depressed For No Reason?

Im only 13, 8th grade just started a little less than 3 months ago and im flunking this marking period, Im in my friends band as the b player, i worry about school, friends, family,piano,b guitar,and go to my friends house twice a week to practice. Im always depressed and in a bad mood. And recently i write depressing poems/ stories about life and death etc. Every time I write these stories/poems, i show that girl I like and she keeps them, she loves them and encourages me to keep writing them and to cheer up. Vintage dress alteration?

I know vintage clothing lovers hate to alter any vintage clothing, so I'm hoping someone out there can help me. My daughter is getting married in June and would like to wear my mother's 1950's organdy formal gown. The problem is that the bodice is too small. I'm trying to think of a way to get it to fit without actually altering the dress too much. I thought of leaving the back open and creating a bodice of some sort and temporarily attaching the dress to it, but the zipper on the dress would be obvious and is in bad shape. Is this hopeless? My mother has ped away and this would be a beautiful connection if we can figure out what to do!
