My friend and I just got a new horse?

TREATS! everytime you go out love on that horse and keep a pocketful of horse treats, carrots or apple slices. as for the bridle, saddle soap, get the leather moisturized with it and it will lossen up. its hard to watch other people be completely stupid about horses, I know it drives me nuts but that horse will be bonding with you more that them anyways. also when horses transition to new homes they get out of sorts. I usually wait a couple of months to start them out on work but you cant do that given the fact they dont sound like horse people.just see if you can contribute the most to her care and maybe your good horsemanship will rub off on them. good luck
