I am looking for a recipe for Amish Pecan Cream Pie-any ideas?

I had it at an Amish restaurant in Indiana. It is semi-layered with a layer of crumbled pecans, cream like custard and whipped cream on top. I know this seems pretty easy, but I'm a bit new to baking and no one in my family likes the traditional pecan pie. Thanks in advance!
