Help me boy troubles!!?

right i like this boy in my school and i have known him for about 6 years or something like that and e have be best friends through our lives. i have began to realize that i like him. i don`t know what to do because i don`t ant to ruin our friend ship and all my friends are crazy about me liking someone and if you tell anyone it spread`s like wildfire round my school. i don`t know what to do. i cant tell him that i like him. im too embarressed to say so. HELP ME PLEASE!!
