Today while performing surgery...?

My girlfriend called me and told me that they had a 1/2 off sale at the Tree. The patient was scheduled to have plastic surgery and botox injections. She was never given any laughing gas, or sleep pills yet, so I asked my professor if he could call off the operation, or perform it for this time. He agreed, but that meant minus ten demerits for me. After a fun-filled day of shopping I started to think that maybe I shouldn't have took that time off work. Was I wrong? I mean I'm able to have fun every once and a while, aren't I? I couldn't resist my gucci shoes.
