Da, I completely understand how you feel. People should be able to relax and enjoy themselves amid good conversation, etc., when they eat, without having to worry excessively about table manners. That being said, however, attending an etiquette cl won't turn you into anything you don't want to be. Your best bet is to simply attend the cl. Believe me, it sure beats living on the streets by a long shot. Good luck to you.
