What is "trolling?" Help Please?

I've heard people being accused of this on the lawnmower repair/modification forum that I visit pretty frequently. ( John Deere X300 w/ 42in. deck and 44in snow blower attachment in case you're wondering) What is it? Is it like a new way of cutting gr that people take offense to? Does it use harsh chemicals or something to cut the gr?
