Has anyone out there experienced multiple problems with their Chevy Avalanche?

I own a 2003 Avalanche and have made several trips to the dealers for multiple problems. My latest dilema is a soft knocking where the vent is by the floor on the pengers side. It happens only when the truck is on and when it comes to a stop and is not consistent. Any ideas?
